Was in to buy multiple Mother's Day cards. My wife, who has been a Gold Crown member for years, gave me a coupon and rewards that she earned. I bought $32 worth of cards, and had 2 coupons worth $8 that the associate, in advance, said both could be used because one was an earned rewards. When she tried to scan the coupons, the register kept saying the system was down. The poor guy next to me tried to pay with a card and couldn't (and I heard the associate tell the manager all 4 times that it said "approved"). He questioned whether his card was hit 4 times and got a snarky response. I am glad I was paying with cash so I could get out. The worst thing is that all 5 employees that were there talked like it happens all the time. That is a great way to not have to honor the rewards that are given out.

Tuesday 10/2/18. I arrived at the store right at 9 am, which is the opening time posted clearly on the door. After 10 minutes of waiting two women strolled in to open up for the day. The second woman in closed the door right behind her, made eye contact with me (as I was standing there clearly waiting to go in), and then locked the door. Not a, "So sorry to keep you waiting, we'll just be a minute." Or a, "So sorry, please come on in to look around while we open up." Awesome. Not only was I late for work but I didn't get the card I needed for a co-worker that day. I got the message loud and clear that my business was not important. I rarely experience such horrible customer service.
