Sweetwater Tavern is a local staple that is always on the top of my list for places I want to go out. Slightly pricier than a typical sit down place, but everything they make is amazing and feels one-of-a-kind. Their outdoor seating is excellent and heated in the winter, their bars are huge, the servers are always polite and the food is always prepared properly. Their jambalaya pasta is my personal favorite but don't overlook their salmon, steaks or burgers. They have homemade rolls that they serve to every table for free and they are amazing. If you find yourself passing through nova and you want one of the best local experiences without going into DC, this place should be at the top of your list. The place seems from the outside to managed very well.
Food was delicious, most of the menu kinda expensive. Not too bad for good steak though. The waiter was nice enough to check without me asking, if they had the cut I was originally told they were out of. If you like Long Island's strong like me, you'll like theirs. Server was even nice enough to take a picture of me and all my friends together for us. Good experience.
Awesome restaurant with great food. Always busy and quality of service and food is good. Local hangout for happy our or anytime family dining. Prices good for the quality of food and beverage. Brew own beer in house.
Ate here tonight for the first time and it was AMAZING. We ordered a sangria, beer, steak and chicken sandwich with hibachi cheese. The food and drinks were phenomenal. They initially forgot to bring out the sangria, so when I asked about it the waiter was so apologetic and polite. They even decided to be extra accommodating and comp it for the delay. I was so surprised they would do that because it was so thoughtful and kind! Especially since they didnt have to do that but offered to. Im not used to receiving top of the notch service like that. I cant praise this place enough. Excellent food, drinks and service! Highly recommend going!!!
Met a friend here for lunch on Saturday since it was half way and had good reviews. It was a good choice. The food was excellent, service was exceptional, and we stayed talking for three hours after our meal and they were very accommodating. Definitely will return.
